Admissions

Right to admit a student to the college is reserved by the Principal. Every student seeking admission to the College shall satisfy himself/ herself that he/she is eligible to take admission to the college as per rules. For any mistake, he/she will be responsible.

Application for admission is to be made on prescribed form complete in all respects and duly attested by his/her father or legal guardian along with full fees payable on admission.

Application form should be accompanied with:

  • School / College Leaving Certificate attested true copy and original
  • True copy of all mark lists of last all qualifying examinations
  • Two recent passport size photographs
  • If there is a gap between the joining of this college and the last qualifying examination, the student will have to produce a gap certificate attested by a magistrate stating that he / she did not join any institution during the gap period.
  • Students migrated from other Boards, are required to submit provisional eligibility certificate issued by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Amravati at the time of admission, otherwise admission will not be finalized.
  • An original certificate of marks of last qualifying examination. (be submitted for inspection when asked for)
  • Admission to any class will be finalized after submission of the above required documents with the application form.
  • Every student seeking admission to this college will be interviewed by the principal without whom no admission shall be made final. Admission to any class is complete only when the fee as per the fee schedule is paid on the day of admission.

Examinations

Degree College

All students must appear for unit tests, test examination, medical examination, physical efficiency test and NCC examination (if any). Defaulters will be fined Rs. 50/- per paper or Rs. 250/- for the whole (unit tests / test) examination, Rs. 50/- for P.E.T. & Rs. 25/- for medical examination (without written permission of the principal).

If a student is unable to attend any examination he / she should submit an application & seek permission in advance to the principal duly signed by his / her guardian with relevant proof such as medical certificate etc.

A.T.K.T. Concessions at the time of Admission
A.T.K.T. concession shall be granted to the failures of B.Sc. I, II examinations on getting exemptions in 1 /3rd subjects prescribed for the examination. For the purpose of calculating 1/3 rd number of subjects, fraction, if any, shall be ignored. Exemption in a subject shall mean exemption in each head of passing i.e. Theory & Practical wherever they form part of the examination & require separate passing, shall be treated as separate heads. Reference : Ordinance no. 10 S.G.B. Amravati University ordinance book.

University Rules Regarding Exemption
Exemption will be awarded in the subject/passing head at the examination upto first Degree in the Faculties of Arts, Science, Social Science and Home science on securing minimum passing marks prescribed at the examination upto first Degree. The individual subject exemption will not be awarded on group basis.
