Sky Observation Club (SOC), Shri R. L. T. College of Science, Akola (Co-organizer) has successfully conducted social awareness programme for solar eclipse. The club was taken awareness programme in 20 schools of Akola regions on 17th December 2019 by showing video clips and PPTs under the organisation of ASEEMIT Space & Environment Center and MITE Education Foundation Pune.
The Sky Observation Club also arranged practical sessions for watching solar eclipse to the school’s students and public on 26th December 2019 in R.L.T. College of Science, Akola. Total 100 observers are involved in this programme.
