1st September of every year is celebrated as “Sericulture Day” and to celebrate it all the students of Diploma course in sericulture and M.Sc.II Zoology students attended the program at Dist. Sericulture Office, MIDC Phase I, Akola at 2:00 pm. Project Director, Mr. V. B. Thakre and other staff and officers with farmers from Akola district were present. Dr. Rashmi joshi was invited as the Chief guest of the program. 28 students were present and got got information about Govt. Scheme MGREGA for Sericulture project.
