The NSS unit of Shri R.L.T College of Science, Akola organized Cleanliness drive on the World Environment Day & Swacchata Saptah on 5/6/2022. The guidelines by MGNCRE (Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education) for plastic ban and plastic pollution free River activity was conducted. The volunteers under the guidance of Prog Officer Dr. Rashmi Joshi done the cleanliness by collecting the plastic waste at the bank of Morna River, Akola. Here the volunteers were informed about the harmful effects of plastic pollution in the rivers abd other water bodies. As we all are responsible citizens, then it is our duty to keep the environment clean and healthy, and conserve it for future generations. The World Environment Day was celebrated with zeel and the students According to the guidelines by NSS department, SGBAU university Amravati the cleanliness campaign was observed under the able guidance of Respected Principal Dr. V. D. Nanoty.
