On 24/12/2021, on the Memorial Day of the first Principal of the college, Late M. G. Joshi, every year to pay him tribute college organizes “Blood Donation Camp”.
This year on 24/12/2021 the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, National Cadet Corp (N.C.C.), Disaster Management Club (DMC) and Department of Physical Education & Sports of Shri R.L.T. College of Science, Akola Jointly organized the Blood Donation Camp. In the camp about 50 donor’s donated blood. Dr. Sudhir Kohchale, Blood Donation Committee Chairman, NSS Programme Officers Dr. Rashmi Joshi and Dr. Samadhan Munde, Head of Department of Physical Education and Sports Dr. Rajesh Chandravanshi and Lieutenant Dr. Rohit Agrawal, NCC took efforts to make the event successful. 50 Donors had donated blood in the camp and made the event successful.
Thanks to all the 50 blood donors who make the camp successful. The program was conducted under the able guidance of Dr. V. D. Nanoty, Principal of the college. The Government Medical College Team was present for the blood collection. Dr. Pranay Wakode, Blood Transfusion Officer GMC Akola and Dr. Shilpa Tayade madam were present to collect Blood with there entire team. The Blood Collecting Team from Akola GMC offered the Memento and Certificate with gratitude to the Hon. Adv. Motisinghji Mohta, President of The B.G.E. Society, Akola and to respected Principal Dr. V.D. Nanoty.
