The NSS unit of Shri RLT College of Science, Akola with Akola Municipal Corporation organised the Covid-19 Vaccination Awareness Campaign from 25/11/21 to 30/11/21.
On date 27/11/21 the covid vaccination awareness street play was presented by the NSS volunteers at different places in city. For the event Hon. Mr Jawde, Deputy Commissioner, Akola Municipal Corporation, Dr Anup Chaudhari, Dr Asmita Pathak, Dr Mudgal, Health Dept.of MC Akola were present for the event. Some girl volunteers of the NSS unit were done the job at call center at Municipal Corporation, Akola.
Daily they call and aware the families to vaccinate soon. About 10 volunteers were done the job for doing survey and awareness in people of Akola by visiting door to door in the areas alloted by the Health Dept Municipal Corporation. In all about 25 volunteers were worked as Covid warriors from 25th Nov to 30th Nov 21. The NSS unit of college is doing excellent job under the guidance of Program Officers Dr, Rashmi Joshi Sawalkar and Dr. Samadhan Munde. Respected Principal Dr. V. D. Nanoty appreciated the activity, He always supports the team for doing social work and for such a noble cause in the society.
