On the occasion of golden jubilee year celebration and the birth anniversary of Albert Einstein, Department of physics, shri R. L. T. College of science, Akola has conducted “Online Physics Aptitude Test’’ for B.Sc. – 3rd year students in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Shri R. L. T. College of Science, Akola and in association with Amravati University Physics Teacher Association (AUPTA), which is held on 14th March 2020.
Total 301 students from fifteen colleges under Amravati University had been participated in this online test. The Online Physics Aptitude Test was conducted by using testmoz software. The online paper was taken of 100 marks. The first three students with the highest marks out of 301 students were declared as winners. The winners include Sneha Tiwari from Shri Shivaji college of Arts, Commerce & Science, Akola on 1st position, Devidas Bhagat from M.S.P. arts and K.P.T. Commerce College, Manora on 2nd position and Samruddhi Mulay from Shri R. L. T. College of Science on 3rd position. The winners gave the appreciation certificate and mementos by the hands of our college principal Dr. V. D. Nanoty. All remaining students were given the participation certificate.
The main objective of the Online Physics Aptitude Test is to develop the knowledge of Physics which is helps the U.G. students for preparation of IIT JAM, NET, GATE, JEST examination. Advantage of online exam is paper-less, automatically checked answers, report and performing analysis so that it is a time saving technique. The online test was successful by the efforts of the organizing committee members, teaching staff and non-teaching staff under the graceful guidance of the principal, Dr. V. D. Nanoty.
