On the eve of National Science day, on 28 February, 2020, the Exhibition on Disaster Management was organised by Principal Brigade Disaster Management Club.
It was precided over by Dr. V. D. Nanoty sir in presence of Shri Sandip Sable Disaster Management unit District Collector Office Akola and Sandip Waghalkar TOT trainer, Dr. R.L. Rahatgaonkar IQAC Coordinator, Dr. R. D. Chandrawanshi, Shri Dattaraj Vidyasagar and other faculty members were present on this occasion. The volunteers gave live life saving demonstration on disaster management.
In this event, a microcontroller based interdisciplinary project of SANGUINOSCOPE was also demonstrated. Three students of Electronics Department (B.Sc. I) and three students of Zoology Department (B.Sc.II) worked on this project. Sanguinoscope is a project to identify the bloodgroup of progeny for the possible combinations of father and mother’s bloodgroups. The students of Electronics learnt the process of antigen and antibodies, agglutination, while finding out the actual bloodgroup of a person and the students of Zoology leart about the logic used behind the combination of paternal and maternal blood groups to find the possible results of progeny bloodgroups.
